Real Run 2025: Sponsoring Singapore's Community Run

Real Run 2025 is a day we'll look back on with real appreciation. Aura Shades had the honour of being one of the official sponsors, supporting the Race Pack Collection, race day itself, and joining the run alongside the community.

As a brand built around performance eyewear, being part of an event like this felt natural. Runners spend hours under strong sunlight, and the right sunglasses make a real difference on long outdoor efforts.

Being invited to sponsor a run organised by HomeTeamNS, an organisation built on service, commitment and unity, meant a lot to us. It was a meaningful opportunity, and we were grateful to be part of an event with so much heart.

Race Pack Collection – 27 & 28 September 2025

The Race Pack weekend was the perfect warm-up to race day. Over two days, runners streamed in with families, friends and teammates, and the venue filled quickly with excitement.

Some moments from the weekend stuck with us:

• Parents pinning bibs onto their kids' shirts
• Friends encouraging each other long before race day
• Officers dropping by after their shifts, still full of purpose
• First-time runners nervously asking questions
• Seasoned runners sharing advice with strangers

We weren't just there to run a booth. We talked with runners, heard their training stories and race goals, and the event felt meaningful before the run even began.

Race Day – 11 October 2025, Punggol Digital District

The race flagged off on a bright Saturday afternoon. Afternoon races have their own rhythm, and the social energy on the ground made it even more memorable.

Training in Singapore's strong sun means the right sunglasses matter more than most runners realise. Bright roads and reflective surfaces strain the eyes fast, and good eyewear helps keep your vision clear through a long outdoor effort.

This time, Aura Shades wasn't just cheering from the sidelines. We joined the run as well.

A Beautiful Route With Every Step

Running through Punggol Digital District was a highlight of its own:

• Wide modern walkways
• Waterfront edges reflecting the afternoon sun
• A mix of greenery and futuristic architecture
• Open spaces that kept the route refreshing
• A gentle breeze runners always appreciate

The course was scenic, and the support along the route kept spirits high. Running it ourselves gave us a real appreciation for the camaraderie and shared effort that make this event what it is.
