A Day with Butterfly Effect at Wao Fitness

Some days stick with you. Last Sunday was one of them.

We had the chance to collaborate with Butterfly Effect at Wao Fitness in Dempsey for their event, and honestly, it was special. The moment we arrived, the energy was already buzzing. Singapore was serving one of those blazing hot mornings where you can feel the warmth before you even step out of the car, but that didn’t slow anyone down. If anything, it made the atmosphere even more real. Sweat, sun, effort, smiles. All in one place.

What stood out the most was the grit of the ladies. From the warm-ups to the tougher stations, every participant showed up ready to work. They pushed hard. They encouraged each other. They kept going even when the sun felt like it was sitting right above our heads. That kind of spirit is what we love to see. It’s exactly the kind of confidence and individuality Aura Shades celebrates.

It meant a lot to us to be part of their day. Being able to support a community that champions strength, courage and growth made the whole experience feel meaningful. We had people trying on our sunglasses in between sets, laughing about how they were sweating through everything, yet still giving their best. Nothing beats that raw authenticity.

Events like this remind us why we love doing what we do. It’s not just about selling sunglasses. It’s about showing up for people who show up for themselves. About being part of a scene that values health, positivity and being proud of who you are.
